Convert Byte to Megabyte
Unit definitions
Byte
$8$ bits equal one byte.
Megabyte
${10}^{6}$ bytes equal one megabyte. It is also equal to ${10}^{3}$ kilobytes.
How to convert Byte to Megabyte
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = \frac{\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}}}{1000000}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $20.0\ \text{B}$ to $\text{MB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = \frac{20.0}{1000000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = 0.00002$$
$$\therefore \ 20.0\ \text{B} = 0.00002 \ \text{MB}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{B}$ to $\text{MB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = \frac{60.0}{1000000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = 0.00006$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{B} = 0.00006 \ \text{MB}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{B}$ to $\text{MB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = \frac{100.0}{1000000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = 0.0001$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{B} = 0.0001 \ \text{MB}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{B}$ to $\text{MB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = \frac{130.0}{1000000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = 0.00013$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{B} = 0.00013 \ \text{MB}$$
Example 5
Convert $190.0\ \text{B}$ to $\text{MB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = \frac{190.0}{1000000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MB}} = 0.00019$$
$$\therefore \ 190.0\ \text{B} = 0.00019 \ \text{MB}$$
