Horsepower (Metric)

An engine's power is commonly measured using brake horsepower. The brake horsepower is the engine's true output power (in horsepower) before any losses in the gearbox and other components. The horsepower in bhp refers to either metric horsepower or imperial horsepower depending on the vehicle manufacturer.
