Example 4
Convert $145.0\ \text{keV}$ to $\text{MeV}$.
$$\text{Energy}_{\text{MeV}} = \frac{145.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Energy}_{\text{MeV}} = 0.145$$
$$\therefore \ 145.0\ \text{keV} = 0.145 \ \text{MeV}$$
Example 5
Convert $180.0\ \text{keV}$ to $\text{MeV}$.
$$\text{Energy}_{\text{MeV}} = \frac{180.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Energy}_{\text{MeV}} = 0.18$$
$$\therefore \ 180.0\ \text{keV} = 0.18 \ \text{MeV}$$
