Convert Microsecond to Nanosecond
Unit definitions
Microsecond
$\frac{1}{10^{6}}$ of a second is a microsecond.
Nanosecond
$\frac{1}{10^{9}}$ of a second is a nanosecond.
How to convert Microsecond to Nanosecond
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = \text{Time}_{\text{μs}} \cdot {10}^{3}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $40.0\ \text{μs}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 40.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 40000$$
$$\therefore \ 40.0\ \text{μs} = 40000 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 2
Convert $75.0\ \text{μs}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 75.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 75000$$
$$\therefore \ 75.0\ \text{μs} = 75000 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{μs}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 100.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 100000$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{μs} = 100000 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{μs}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 130.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 130000$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{μs} = 130000 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 5
Convert $180.0\ \text{μs}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 180.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 180000$$
$$\therefore \ 180.0\ \text{μs} = 180000 \ \text{ns}$$
