Grade
A grade is defined as $\frac{1}{400}$ of a revolution. It is also known as the gon or the gradian.
How to convert Degree to Grade
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = \text{Angle}_{\text{°}} \cdot 1.111111111111111111111111111111111$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $25.0\ \text{°}$ to $\text{grad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 25.0 \cdot 1.111111111111111111111111111111111$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 27.777778$$
$$\therefore \ 25.0\ \text{°} = 27.777778 \ \text{grad}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{°}$ to $\text{grad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 60.0 \cdot 1.111111111111111111111111111111111$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 66.666667$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{°} = 66.666667 \ \text{grad}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{°}$ to $\text{grad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 100.0 \cdot 1.111111111111111111111111111111111$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 111.111111$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{°} = 111.111111 \ \text{grad}$$
Example 4
Convert $135.0\ \text{°}$ to $\text{grad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 135.0 \cdot 1.111111111111111111111111111111111$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 150$$
$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{°} = 150 \ \text{grad}$$
Example 5
Convert $160.0\ \text{°}$ to $\text{grad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 160.0 \cdot 1.111111111111111111111111111111111$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 177.777778$$
$$\therefore \ 160.0\ \text{°} = 177.777778 \ \text{grad}$$
