Convert Revolution to Grade
Unit definitions
Revolution
One revolution is equal to $2\pi$ radians (i.e., a full circle).
Grade
A grade is defined as $\frac{1}{400}$ of a revolution. It is also known as the gon or the gradian.
How to convert Revolution to Grade
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = \text{Angle}_{\text{rev}} \cdot 400$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $50.0\ \text{rev}$ to $\text{grad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 50.0 \cdot 400$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 20000$$
$$\therefore \ 50.0\ \text{rev} = 20000 \ \text{grad}$$
Example 2
Convert $70.0\ \text{rev}$ to $\text{grad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 70.0 \cdot 400$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 28000$$
$$\therefore \ 70.0\ \text{rev} = 28000 \ \text{grad}$$
Example 3
Convert $120.0\ \text{rev}$ to $\text{grad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 120.0 \cdot 400$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 48000$$
$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{rev} = 48000 \ \text{grad}$$
Example 4
Convert $135.0\ \text{rev}$ to $\text{grad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 135.0 \cdot 400$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 54000$$
$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{rev} = 54000 \ \text{grad}$$
Example 5
Convert $195.0\ \text{rev}$ to $\text{grad}$.
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 195.0 \cdot 400$$
$$\text{Angle}_{\text{grad}} = 78000$$
$$\therefore \ 195.0\ \text{rev} = 78000 \ \text{grad}$$
