Convert Gigabyte to Terabit
Unit definitions
Gigabyte
${10}^{9}$ bytes equal one gigabyte. It is also equal to ${10}^{3}$ megabytes.
Terabit
${10}^{12}$ bits equal one terabit.
How to convert Gigabyte to Terabit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{GB}}}{125}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $45.0\ \text{GB}$ to $\text{Tb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{45.0}{125}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = 0.36$$
$$\therefore \ 45.0\ \text{GB} = 0.36 \ \text{Tb}$$
Example 2
Convert $65.0\ \text{GB}$ to $\text{Tb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{65.0}{125}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = 0.52$$
$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{GB} = 0.52 \ \text{Tb}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{GB}$ to $\text{Tb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{100.0}{125}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = 0.8$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{GB} = 0.8 \ \text{Tb}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{GB}$ to $\text{Tb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{150.0}{125}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = 1.2$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{GB} = 1.2 \ \text{Tb}$$
Example 5
Convert $170.0\ \text{GB}$ to $\text{Tb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{170.0}{125}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = 1.36$$
$$\therefore \ 170.0\ \text{GB} = 1.36 \ \text{Tb}$$
