Convert Kibibyte to Byte
Unit definitions
Kibibyte
${2}^{10}$ bytes equal one kibibyte.
Byte
$8$ bits equal one byte.
How to convert Kibibyte to Byte
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} \cdot 1024$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $35.0\ \text{KiB}$ to $\text{B}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = 35.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = 35840$$
$$\therefore \ 35.0\ \text{KiB} = 35840 \ \text{B}$$
Example 2
Convert $90.0\ \text{KiB}$ to $\text{B}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = 90.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = 92160$$
$$\therefore \ 90.0\ \text{KiB} = 92160 \ \text{B}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{KiB}$ to $\text{B}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = 110.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = 112640$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{KiB} = 112640 \ \text{B}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{KiB}$ to $\text{B}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = 150.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = 153600$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{KiB} = 153600 \ \text{B}$$
Example 5
Convert $200.0\ \text{KiB}$ to $\text{B}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = 200.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}} = 204800$$
$$\therefore \ 200.0\ \text{KiB} = 204800 \ \text{B}$$
