Convert Kibibyte to Kibibit
Unit definitions
Kibibyte
${2}^{10}$ bytes equal one kibibyte.
Kibibit
${2}^{10}$ bits equal one kibibit.
How to convert Kibibyte to Kibibit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} \cdot 8$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $20.0\ \text{KiB}$ to $\text{Kib}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = 20.0 \cdot 8$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = 160$$
$$\therefore \ 20.0\ \text{KiB} = 160 \ \text{Kib}$$
Example 2
Convert $70.0\ \text{KiB}$ to $\text{Kib}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = 70.0 \cdot 8$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = 560$$
$$\therefore \ 70.0\ \text{KiB} = 560 \ \text{Kib}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{KiB}$ to $\text{Kib}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = 110.0 \cdot 8$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = 880$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{KiB} = 880 \ \text{Kib}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{KiB}$ to $\text{Kib}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = 140.0 \cdot 8$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = 1120$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{KiB} = 1120 \ \text{Kib}$$
Example 5
Convert $160.0\ \text{KiB}$ to $\text{Kib}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = 160.0 \cdot 8$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} = 1280$$
$$\therefore \ 160.0\ \text{KiB} = 1280 \ \text{Kib}$$
