Convert Kilobit to Megabit
Unit definitions
Kilobit
${10}^{3}$ bits equal one kilobit.
Megabit
${10}^{6}$ bits equal one megabit.
How to convert Kilobit to Megabit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = \frac{\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}}}{{10}^{3}}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $50.0\ \text{Kb}$ to $\text{Mb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = \frac{50.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 0.05$$
$$\therefore \ 50.0\ \text{Kb} = 0.05 \ \text{Mb}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{Kb}$ to $\text{Mb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = \frac{60.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 0.06$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{Kb} = 0.06 \ \text{Mb}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{Kb}$ to $\text{Mb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = \frac{110.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 0.11$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{Kb} = 0.11 \ \text{Mb}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{Kb}$ to $\text{Mb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = \frac{150.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 0.15$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{Kb} = 0.15 \ \text{Mb}$$
Example 5
Convert $160.0\ \text{Kb}$ to $\text{Mb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = \frac{160.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 0.16$$
$$\therefore \ 160.0\ \text{Kb} = 0.16 \ \text{Mb}$$
