Convert Mebibyte to Bit
Unit definitions
Mebibyte
${2}^{20}$ bytes equal one mebibyte.
Bit
The bit is the smallest unit of measurement in data and storage. It is used to indicate one of the two logic states: 0 or 1.
How to convert Mebibyte to Bit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MiB}} \cdot 8388608$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $40.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{bit}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 40.0 \cdot 8388608$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 335544320$$
$$\therefore \ 40.0\ \text{MiB} = 335544320 \ \text{bit}$$
Example 2
Convert $75.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{bit}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 75.0 \cdot 8388608$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 629145600$$
$$\therefore \ 75.0\ \text{MiB} = 629145600 \ \text{bit}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{bit}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 110.0 \cdot 8388608$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 922746880$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{MiB} = 922746880 \ \text{bit}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{bit}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 130.0 \cdot 8388608$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 1090519040$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{MiB} = 1090519040 \ \text{bit}$$
Example 5
Convert $170.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{bit}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 170.0 \cdot 8388608$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 1426063360$$
$$\therefore \ 170.0\ \text{MiB} = 1426063360 \ \text{bit}$$
