Convert Mebibyte to Kibibyte
Unit definitions
Mebibyte
${2}^{20}$ bytes equal one mebibyte.
Kibibyte
${2}^{10}$ bytes equal one kibibyte.
How to convert Mebibyte to Kibibyte
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MiB}} \cdot 1024$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $40.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{KiB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 40.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 40960$$
$$\therefore \ 40.0\ \text{MiB} = 40960 \ \text{KiB}$$
Example 2
Convert $75.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{KiB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 75.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 76800$$
$$\therefore \ 75.0\ \text{MiB} = 76800 \ \text{KiB}$$
Example 3
Convert $120.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{KiB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 120.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 122880$$
$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{MiB} = 122880 \ \text{KiB}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{KiB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 140.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 143360$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{MiB} = 143360 \ \text{KiB}$$
Example 5
Convert $185.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{KiB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 185.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 189440$$
$$\therefore \ 185.0\ \text{MiB} = 189440 \ \text{KiB}$$
