Convert Mebibyte to Mebibit
Unit definitions
Mebibyte
${2}^{20}$ bytes equal one mebibyte.
Mebibit
${2}^{20}$ bits equal one mebibit.
How to convert Mebibyte to Mebibit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{MiB}} \cdot 8$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $40.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{Mib}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = 40.0 \cdot 8$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = 320$$
$$\therefore \ 40.0\ \text{MiB} = 320 \ \text{Mib}$$
Example 2
Convert $75.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{Mib}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = 75.0 \cdot 8$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = 600$$
$$\therefore \ 75.0\ \text{MiB} = 600 \ \text{Mib}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{Mib}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = 110.0 \cdot 8$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = 880$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{MiB} = 880 \ \text{Mib}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{Mib}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = 130.0 \cdot 8$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = 1040$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{MiB} = 1040 \ \text{Mib}$$
Example 5
Convert $160.0\ \text{MiB}$ to $\text{Mib}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = 160.0 \cdot 8$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mib}} = 1280$$
$$\therefore \ 160.0\ \text{MiB} = 1280 \ \text{Mib}$$
