Convert Megabit to Kilobit
Unit definitions
Megabit
${10}^{6}$ bits equal one megabit.
Kilobit
${10}^{3}$ bits equal one kilobit.
How to convert Megabit to Kilobit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} \cdot {10}^{3}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $20.0\ \text{Mb}$ to $\text{Kb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = 20.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = 20000$$
$$\therefore \ 20.0\ \text{Mb} = 20000 \ \text{Kb}$$
Example 2
Convert $70.0\ \text{Mb}$ to $\text{Kb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = 70.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = 70000$$
$$\therefore \ 70.0\ \text{Mb} = 70000 \ \text{Kb}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{Mb}$ to $\text{Kb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = 105.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = 105000$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{Mb} = 105000 \ \text{Kb}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{Mb}$ to $\text{Kb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = 150.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = 150000$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{Mb} = 150000 \ \text{Kb}$$
Example 5
Convert $195.0\ \text{Mb}$ to $\text{Kb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = 195.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kb}} = 195000$$
$$\therefore \ 195.0\ \text{Mb} = 195000 \ \text{Kb}$$
