Convert Megabit to Kilobyte
Unit definitions
Megabit
${10}^{6}$ bits equal one megabit.
Kilobyte
${10}^{3}$ bytes equal one kilobyte.
How to convert Megabit to Kilobyte
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} \cdot 125$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $30.0\ \text{Mb}$ to $\text{KB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 30.0 \cdot 125$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 3750$$
$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{Mb} = 3750 \ \text{KB}$$
Example 2
Convert $65.0\ \text{Mb}$ to $\text{KB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 65.0 \cdot 125$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 8125$$
$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{Mb} = 8125 \ \text{KB}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{Mb}$ to $\text{KB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 100.0 \cdot 125$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 12500$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{Mb} = 12500 \ \text{KB}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{Mb}$ to $\text{KB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 140.0 \cdot 125$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 17500$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{Mb} = 17500 \ \text{KB}$$
Example 5
Convert $180.0\ \text{Mb}$ to $\text{KB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 180.0 \cdot 125$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 22500$$
$$\therefore \ 180.0\ \text{Mb} = 22500 \ \text{KB}$$
