Convert Petabit to Exabyte
Unit definitions
Petabit
${10}^{15}$ bits equal one petabit.
Exabyte
${10}^{18}$ bytes equal one exabyte. It is also equal to ${10}^{3}$ petabytes.
How to convert Petabit to Exabyte
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = \frac{\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}}}{8000}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $25.0\ \text{Pb}$ to $\text{EB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = \frac{25.0}{8000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = 0.003125$$
$$\therefore \ 25.0\ \text{Pb} = 0.003125 \ \text{EB}$$
Example 2
Convert $80.0\ \text{Pb}$ to $\text{EB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = \frac{80.0}{8000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = 0.01$$
$$\therefore \ 80.0\ \text{Pb} = 0.01 \ \text{EB}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{Pb}$ to $\text{EB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = \frac{105.0}{8000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = 0.013125$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{Pb} = 0.013125 \ \text{EB}$$
Example 4
Convert $135.0\ \text{Pb}$ to $\text{EB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = \frac{135.0}{8000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = 0.016875$$
$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{Pb} = 0.016875 \ \text{EB}$$
Example 5
Convert $175.0\ \text{Pb}$ to $\text{EB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = \frac{175.0}{8000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{EB}} = 0.021875$$
$$\therefore \ 175.0\ \text{Pb} = 0.021875 \ \text{EB}$$
