Convert Petabit to Terabyte
Unit definitions
Petabit
${10}^{15}$ bits equal one petabit.
Terabyte
${10}^{12}$ bytes equal one terabyte. It is also equal to ${10}^{3}$ gigabytes.
How to convert Petabit to Terabyte
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} \cdot 125$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $30.0\ \text{Pb}$ to $\text{TB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 30.0 \cdot 125$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 3750$$
$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{Pb} = 3750 \ \text{TB}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{Pb}$ to $\text{TB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 60.0 \cdot 125$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 7500$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{Pb} = 7500 \ \text{TB}$$
Example 3
Convert $115.0\ \text{Pb}$ to $\text{TB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 115.0 \cdot 125$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 14375$$
$$\therefore \ 115.0\ \text{Pb} = 14375 \ \text{TB}$$
Example 4
Convert $135.0\ \text{Pb}$ to $\text{TB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 135.0 \cdot 125$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 16875$$
$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{Pb} = 16875 \ \text{TB}$$
Example 5
Convert $170.0\ \text{Pb}$ to $\text{TB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 170.0 \cdot 125$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 21250$$
$$\therefore \ 170.0\ \text{Pb} = 21250 \ \text{TB}$$
