Convert Petabyte to Exabit
Unit definitions
Petabyte
${10}^{15}$ bytes equal one petabyte. It is also equal to ${10}^{3}$ terabytes.
Exabit
${10}^{18}$ bits equal one exabit.
How to convert Petabyte to Exabit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = \frac{\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{PB}}}{125}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $35.0\ \text{PB}$ to $\text{Eb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = \frac{35.0}{125}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = 0.28$$
$$\therefore \ 35.0\ \text{PB} = 0.28 \ \text{Eb}$$
Example 2
Convert $85.0\ \text{PB}$ to $\text{Eb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = \frac{85.0}{125}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = 0.68$$
$$\therefore \ 85.0\ \text{PB} = 0.68 \ \text{Eb}$$
Example 3
Convert $120.0\ \text{PB}$ to $\text{Eb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = \frac{120.0}{125}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = 0.96$$
$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{PB} = 0.96 \ \text{Eb}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{PB}$ to $\text{Eb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = \frac{130.0}{125}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = 1.04$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{PB} = 1.04 \ \text{Eb}$$
Example 5
Convert $190.0\ \text{PB}$ to $\text{Eb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = \frac{190.0}{125}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Eb}} = 1.52$$
$$\therefore \ 190.0\ \text{PB} = 1.52 \ \text{Eb}$$
