Convert Terabit to Petabit
Unit definitions
Terabit
${10}^{12}$ bits equal one terabit.
Petabit
${10}^{15}$ bits equal one petabit.
How to convert Terabit to Petabit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = \frac{\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}}}{{10}^{3}}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $45.0\ \text{Tb}$ to $\text{Pb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = \frac{45.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = 0.045$$
$$\therefore \ 45.0\ \text{Tb} = 0.045 \ \text{Pb}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{Tb}$ to $\text{Pb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = \frac{60.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = 0.06$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{Tb} = 0.06 \ \text{Pb}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{Tb}$ to $\text{Pb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = \frac{105.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = 0.105$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{Tb} = 0.105 \ \text{Pb}$$
Example 4
Convert $145.0\ \text{Tb}$ to $\text{Pb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = \frac{145.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = 0.145$$
$$\therefore \ 145.0\ \text{Tb} = 0.145 \ \text{Pb}$$
Example 5
Convert $185.0\ \text{Tb}$ to $\text{Pb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = \frac{185.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Pb}} = 0.185$$
$$\therefore \ 185.0\ \text{Tb} = 0.185 \ \text{Pb}$$
