Convert Gram-force to Kilogram-force
Unit definitions
Gram-force
Gram-force is the force exerted by a mass of one gram in standard gravity ($gₙ$) ($1\ \text{kgf} = 9.806\,65\ \text{N}$).
Kilogram-force
Kilogram-force is the force exerted by a mass of one kilogram in standard gravity ($gₙ$) ($1\ \text{kgf} = 9.806\,65\ \text{N}$).
How to convert Gram-force to Kilogram-force
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = \frac{\text{Force}_{\text{gf}}}{1000}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $30.0\ \text{gf}$ to $\text{kgf}$.
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = \frac{30.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = 0.03$$
$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{gf} = 0.03 \ \text{kgf}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{gf}$ to $\text{kgf}$.
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = \frac{60.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = 0.06$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{gf} = 0.06 \ \text{kgf}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{gf}$ to $\text{kgf}$.
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = \frac{105.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = 0.105$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{gf} = 0.105 \ \text{kgf}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{gf}$ to $\text{kgf}$.
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = \frac{150.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = 0.15$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{gf} = 0.15 \ \text{kgf}$$
Example 5
Convert $175.0\ \text{gf}$ to $\text{kgf}$.
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = \frac{175.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} = 0.175$$
$$\therefore \ 175.0\ \text{gf} = 0.175 \ \text{kgf}$$
