Convert Kilogram-force to Gram-force

Unit definitions

Kilogram-force

Kilogram-force is the force exerted by a mass of one kilogram in standard gravity ($gₙ$) ($1\ \text{kgf} = 9.806\,65\ \text{N}$).

Gram-force

Gram-force is the force exerted by a mass of one gram in standard gravity ($gₙ$) ($1\ \text{kgf} = 9.806\,65\ \text{N}$).

How to convert Kilogram-force to Gram-force

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = \text{Force}_{\text{kgf}} \cdot 1000$$

Examples

Example 1

Convert $30.0\ \text{kgf}$ to $\text{gf}$.

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = 30.0 \cdot 1000$$

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = 30000$$

$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{kgf} = 30000 \ \text{gf}$$

Example 2

Convert $65.0\ \text{kgf}$ to $\text{gf}$.

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = 65.0 \cdot 1000$$

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = 65000$$

$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{kgf} = 65000 \ \text{gf}$$

Example 3

Convert $115.0\ \text{kgf}$ to $\text{gf}$.

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = 115.0 \cdot 1000$$

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = 115000$$

$$\therefore \ 115.0\ \text{kgf} = 115000 \ \text{gf}$$

Example 4

Convert $135.0\ \text{kgf}$ to $\text{gf}$.

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = 135.0 \cdot 1000$$

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = 135000$$

$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{kgf} = 135000 \ \text{gf}$$

Example 5

Convert $180.0\ \text{kgf}$ to $\text{gf}$.

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = 180.0 \cdot 1000$$

$$\text{Force}_{\text{gf}} = 180000$$

$$\therefore \ 180.0\ \text{kgf} = 180000 \ \text{gf}$$
