Convert Decagram to Hectogram
Unit definitions
Decagram
$10^{1}$ grams is a decagram.
Hectogram
$10^{2}$ grams is a hectogram.
How to convert Decagram to Hectogram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{\text{Mass}_{\text{dag}}}{10}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $50.0\ \text{dag}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{50.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 5$$
$$\therefore \ 50.0\ \text{dag} = 5 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 2
Convert $70.0\ \text{dag}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{70.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 7$$
$$\therefore \ 70.0\ \text{dag} = 7 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{dag}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{105.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 10.5$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{dag} = 10.5 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{dag}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{150.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 15$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{dag} = 15 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 5
Convert $160.0\ \text{dag}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{160.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 16$$
$$\therefore \ 160.0\ \text{dag} = 16 \ \text{hg}$$
