Convert Decigram to Centigram
Unit definitions
Decigram
$\frac{1}{10^{1}}$ of a gram is a decigram.
Centigram
$\frac{1}{10^{2}}$ of a gram is a centigram.
How to convert Decigram to Centigram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = \text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} \cdot 10$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $35.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 35.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 350$$
$$\therefore \ 35.0\ \text{dg} = 350 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 2
Convert $85.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 85.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 850$$
$$\therefore \ 85.0\ \text{dg} = 850 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 110.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 1100$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{dg} = 1100 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 140.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 1400$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{dg} = 1400 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 5
Convert $165.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 165.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 1650$$
$$\therefore \ 165.0\ \text{dg} = 1650 \ \text{cg}$$
