Convert Decigram to Gram
Unit definitions
Decigram
$\frac{1}{10^{1}}$ of a gram is a decigram.
Gram
$\frac{1}{10^{3}}$ of a kilogram is a gram.
How to convert Decigram to Gram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}}}{10}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $45.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{g}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{45.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 4.5$$
$$\therefore \ 45.0\ \text{dg} = 4.5 \ \text{g}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{g}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{60.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 6$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{dg} = 6 \ \text{g}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{g}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{100.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 10$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{dg} = 10 \ \text{g}$$
Example 4
Convert $145.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{g}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{145.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 14.5$$
$$\therefore \ 145.0\ \text{dg} = 14.5 \ \text{g}$$
Example 5
Convert $165.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{g}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{165.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 16.5$$
$$\therefore \ 165.0\ \text{dg} = 16.5 \ \text{g}$$
