Convert Decigram to Hectogram
Unit definitions
Decigram
$\frac{1}{10^{1}}$ of a gram is a decigram.
Hectogram
$10^{2}$ grams is a hectogram.
How to convert Decigram to Hectogram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}}}{1000}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $30.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{30.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.03$$
$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{dg} = 0.03 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 2
Convert $80.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{80.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.08$$
$$\therefore \ 80.0\ \text{dg} = 0.08 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{105.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.105$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{dg} = 0.105 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{150.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.15$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{dg} = 0.15 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 5
Convert $170.0\ \text{dg}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{170.0}{1000}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.17$$
$$\therefore \ 170.0\ \text{dg} = 0.17 \ \text{hg}$$
