Convert Gram to Decigram
Unit definitions
Gram
$\frac{1}{10^{3}}$ of a kilogram is a gram.
Decigram
$\frac{1}{10^{1}}$ of a gram is a decigram.
How to convert Gram to Decigram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = \text{Mass}_{\text{g}} \cdot 10$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $30.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{dg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 30.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 300$$
$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{g} = 300 \ \text{dg}$$
Example 2
Convert $80.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{dg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 80.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 800$$
$$\therefore \ 80.0\ \text{g} = 800 \ \text{dg}$$
Example 3
Convert $120.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{dg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 120.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 1200$$
$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{g} = 1200 \ \text{dg}$$
Example 4
Convert $135.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{dg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 135.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 1350$$
$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{g} = 1350 \ \text{dg}$$
Example 5
Convert $165.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{dg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 165.0 \cdot 10$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{dg}} = 1650$$
$$\therefore \ 165.0\ \text{g} = 1650 \ \text{dg}$$
