The kilogram is the SI base unit of mass. How to convert Kilogram to Gram

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \text{Mass}_{\text{kg}} \cdot 1000$$

Examples

Example 1

Convert $20.0\ \text{kg}$ to $\text{g}$.

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 20.0 \cdot 1000$$

Example 2

Example 3

Convert $110.0\ \text{kg}$ to $\text{g}$.

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 110.0 \cdot 1000$$

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 110000$$

$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{kg} = 110000 \ \text{g}$$

Example 4

Convert $145.0\ \text{kg}$ to $\text{g}$.

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 145.0 \cdot 1000$$

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 145000$$

$$\therefore \ 145.0\ \text{kg} = 145000 \ \text{g}$$

Example 5

Convert $180.0\ \text{kg}$ to $\text{g}$.

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 180.0 \cdot 1000$$

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 180000$$

$$\therefore \ 180.0\ \text{kg} = 180000 \ \text{g}$$
