Convert Microgram to Nanogram
Unit definitions
Microgram
$\frac{1}{10^{6}}$ of a gram is a microgram.
Nanogram
$\frac{1}{10^{9}}$ of a gram is a nanogram.
How to convert Microgram to Nanogram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = \text{Mass}_{\text{μg}} \cdot 1000$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $50.0\ \text{μg}$ to $\text{ng}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = 50.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = 50000$$
$$\therefore \ 50.0\ \text{μg} = 50000 \ \text{ng}$$
Example 2
Convert $65.0\ \text{μg}$ to $\text{ng}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = 65.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = 65000$$
$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{μg} = 65000 \ \text{ng}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{μg}$ to $\text{ng}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = 110.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = 110000$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{μg} = 110000 \ \text{ng}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{μg}$ to $\text{ng}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = 130.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = 130000$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{μg} = 130000 \ \text{ng}$$
Example 5
Convert $185.0\ \text{μg}$ to $\text{ng}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = 185.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{ng}} = 185000$$
$$\therefore \ 185.0\ \text{μg} = 185000 \ \text{ng}$$
