How to convert Milligram to Centigram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = \frac{\text{Mass}_{\text{mg}}}{10}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $40.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = \frac{40.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 4$$
$$\therefore \ 40.0\ \text{mg} = 4 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 2
Convert $80.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = \frac{80.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 8$$
$$\therefore \ 80.0\ \text{mg} = 8 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = \frac{105.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 10.5$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{mg} = 10.5 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = \frac{150.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 15$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{mg} = 15 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 5
Convert $170.0\ \text{mg}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = \frac{170.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 17$$
$$\therefore \ 170.0\ \text{mg} = 17 \ \text{cg}$$
