How to convert Deciwatt to Watt

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = \frac{\text{Power}_{\text{dW}}}{{10}^{1}}$$

Examples

Example 1

Convert $20.0\ \text{dW}$ to $\text{W}$.

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = \frac{20.0}{{10}^{1}}$$

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = 2$$

$$\therefore \ 20.0\ \text{dW} = 2 \ \text{W}$$

Example 2

Convert $75.0\ \text{dW}$ to $\text{W}$.

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = \frac{75.0}{{10}^{1}}$$

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = 7.5$$

$$\therefore \ 75.0\ \text{dW} = 7.5 \ \text{W}$$

Example 3

Convert $110.0\ \text{dW}$ to $\text{W}$.

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = \frac{110.0}{{10}^{1}}$$

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = 11$$

$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{dW} = 11 \ \text{W}$$

Example 4

Convert $145.0\ \text{dW}$ to $\text{W}$.

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = \frac{145.0}{{10}^{1}}$$

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = 14.5$$

$$\therefore \ 145.0\ \text{dW} = 14.5 \ \text{W}$$

Example 5

Convert $160.0\ \text{dW}$ to $\text{W}$.

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = \frac{160.0}{{10}^{1}}$$

$$\text{Power}_{\text{W}} = 16$$

$$\therefore \ 160.0\ \text{dW} = 16 \ \text{W}$$
