How to convert Fahrenheit to Rankine

$$\text{Temperature}_{\text{°R}} = \text{Temperature}_{\text{°F}} + 459.67$$

Examples

Example 1

Convert $30.0\ \text{°F}$ to $\text{°R}$.

$$\text{Temperature}_{\text{°R}} = 30.0 + 459.67$$

$$\text{Temperature}_{\text{°R}} = 489.67$$

$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{°F} = 489.67 \ \text{°R}$$
