Convert Nanosecond to Picosecond
Unit definitions
Nanosecond
$\frac{1}{10^{9}}$ of a second is a nanosecond.
Picosecond
$\frac{1}{10^{12}}$ of a second is a picosecond.
How to convert Nanosecond to Picosecond
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = \text{Time}_{\text{ns}} \cdot {10}^{3}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $45.0\ \text{ns}$ to $\text{ps}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = 45.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = 45000$$
$$\therefore \ 45.0\ \text{ns} = 45000 \ \text{ps}$$
Example 2
Convert $65.0\ \text{ns}$ to $\text{ps}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = 65.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = 65000$$
$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{ns} = 65000 \ \text{ps}$$
Example 3
Convert $115.0\ \text{ns}$ to $\text{ps}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = 115.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = 115000$$
$$\therefore \ 115.0\ \text{ns} = 115000 \ \text{ps}$$
Example 4
Convert $145.0\ \text{ns}$ to $\text{ps}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = 145.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = 145000$$
$$\therefore \ 145.0\ \text{ns} = 145000 \ \text{ps}$$
Example 5
Convert $170.0\ \text{ns}$ to $\text{ps}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = 170.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ps}} = 170000$$
$$\therefore \ 170.0\ \text{ns} = 170000 \ \text{ps}$$
