Convert Picosecond to Nanosecond
Unit definitions
Picosecond
$\frac{1}{10^{12}}$ of a second is a picosecond.
Nanosecond
$\frac{1}{10^{9}}$ of a second is a nanosecond.
How to convert Picosecond to Nanosecond
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = \frac{\text{Time}_{\text{ps}}}{{10}^{3}}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $20.0\ \text{ps}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = \frac{20.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 0.02$$
$$\therefore \ 20.0\ \text{ps} = 0.02 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 2
Convert $90.0\ \text{ps}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = \frac{90.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 0.09$$
$$\therefore \ 90.0\ \text{ps} = 0.09 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 3
Convert $115.0\ \text{ps}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = \frac{115.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 0.115$$
$$\therefore \ 115.0\ \text{ps} = 0.115 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{ps}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = \frac{150.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 0.15$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{ps} = 0.15 \ \text{ns}$$
Example 5
Convert $165.0\ \text{ps}$ to $\text{ns}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = \frac{165.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{ns}} = 0.165$$
$$\therefore \ 165.0\ \text{ps} = 0.165 \ \text{ns}$$
