Convert Second to Hour
Unit definitions
Second
The second is the SI base unit of time. A second is defined as the duration of $9\,192\,631\,770$ periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the caesium-133 atom.
Hour
$60$ minutes is an hour. $1$ hour has $3\,600$ ($60 \times 60$) seconds.
How to convert Second to Hour
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = \frac{\text{Time}_{\text{s}}}{3600}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $20.0\ \text{s}$ to $\text{h}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = \frac{20.0}{3600}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = 0.005556$$
$$\therefore \ 20.0\ \text{s} = 0.005556 \ \text{h}$$
Example 2
Convert $80.0\ \text{s}$ to $\text{h}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = \frac{80.0}{3600}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = 0.022222$$
$$\therefore \ 80.0\ \text{s} = 0.022222 \ \text{h}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{s}$ to $\text{h}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = \frac{110.0}{3600}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = 0.030556$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{s} = 0.030556 \ \text{h}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{s}$ to $\text{h}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = \frac{150.0}{3600}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = 0.041667$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{s} = 0.041667 \ \text{h}$$
Example 5
Convert $185.0\ \text{s}$ to $\text{h}$.
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = \frac{185.0}{3600}$$
$$\text{Time}_{\text{h}} = 0.051389$$
$$\therefore \ 185.0\ \text{s} = 0.051389 \ \text{h}$$
