Convert Centiliter to Deciliter
Unit definitions
Centiliter
$\frac{1}{10^{2}}$ of a liter is a centiliter.
Deciliter
$\frac{1}{10}$ of a liter is a deciliter.
How to convert Centiliter to Deciliter
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = \frac{\text{Volume}_{\text{cl}}}{10}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $45.0\ \text{cl}$ to $\text{dl}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = \frac{45.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = 4.5$$
$$\therefore \ 45.0\ \text{cl} = 4.5 \ \text{dl}$$
Example 2
Convert $65.0\ \text{cl}$ to $\text{dl}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = \frac{65.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = 6.5$$
$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{cl} = 6.5 \ \text{dl}$$
Example 3
Convert $115.0\ \text{cl}$ to $\text{dl}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = \frac{115.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = 11.5$$
$$\therefore \ 115.0\ \text{cl} = 11.5 \ \text{dl}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{cl}$ to $\text{dl}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = \frac{140.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = 14$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{cl} = 14 \ \text{dl}$$
Example 5
Convert $200.0\ \text{cl}$ to $\text{dl}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = \frac{200.0}{10}$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{dl}} = 20$$
$$\therefore \ 200.0\ \text{cl} = 20 \ \text{dl}$$
