Convert Cubic meter to Liter
Unit definitions
Cubic meter
The cubic meter is the volume of a cube with edges exactly $1$ meter in length. It is the unit of volume in SI.
Liter
The liter is a metric unit of volume equal to $1$ cubic decimeter (i.e., $10^{3}$ cubic centimeters). It is approximately equal to the mass of $1\ \text{kg}$ of water at room temperature.
How to convert Cubic meter to Liter
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = \text{Volume}_{\text{m³}} \cdot 1000$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $25.0\ \text{m³}$ to $\text{l}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = 25.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = 25000$$
$$\therefore \ 25.0\ \text{m³} = 25000 \ \text{l}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{m³}$ to $\text{l}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = 60.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = 60000$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{m³} = 60000 \ \text{l}$$
Example 3
Convert $120.0\ \text{m³}$ to $\text{l}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = 120.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = 120000$$
$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{m³} = 120000 \ \text{l}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{m³}$ to $\text{l}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = 140.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = 140000$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{m³} = 140000 \ \text{l}$$
Example 5
Convert $190.0\ \text{m³}$ to $\text{l}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = 190.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{l}} = 190000$$
$$\therefore \ 190.0\ \text{m³} = 190000 \ \text{l}$$
