Convert Liter to Milliliter
Unit definitions
Liter
The liter is a metric unit of volume equal to $1$ cubic decimeter (i.e., $10^{3}$ cubic centimeters). It is approximately equal to the mass of $1\ \text{kg}$ of water at room temperature.
Milliliter
$\frac{1}{10^{3}}$ of a liter is a milliliter.
How to convert Liter to Milliliter
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = \text{Volume}_{\text{l}} \cdot 1000$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $35.0\ \text{l}$ to $\text{ml}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = 35.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = 35000$$
$$\therefore \ 35.0\ \text{l} = 35000 \ \text{ml}$$
Example 2
Convert $75.0\ \text{l}$ to $\text{ml}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = 75.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = 75000$$
$$\therefore \ 75.0\ \text{l} = 75000 \ \text{ml}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{l}$ to $\text{ml}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = 100.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = 100000$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{l} = 100000 \ \text{ml}$$
Example 4
Convert $145.0\ \text{l}$ to $\text{ml}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = 145.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = 145000$$
$$\therefore \ 145.0\ \text{l} = 145000 \ \text{ml}$$
Example 5
Convert $160.0\ \text{l}$ to $\text{ml}$.
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = 160.0 \cdot 1000$$
$$\text{Volume}_{\text{ml}} = 160000$$
$$\therefore \ 160.0\ \text{l} = 160000 \ \text{ml}$$
