Convert Byte to Kibibyte
Unit definitions
Byte
$8$ bits equal one byte.
Kibibyte
${2}^{10}$ bytes equal one kibibyte.
How to convert Byte to Kibibyte
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = \frac{\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{B}}}{1024}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $30.0\ \text{B}$ to $\text{KiB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = \frac{30.0}{1024}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 0.029297$$
$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{B} = 0.029297 \ \text{KiB}$$
Example 2
Convert $85.0\ \text{B}$ to $\text{KiB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = \frac{85.0}{1024}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 0.083008$$
$$\therefore \ 85.0\ \text{B} = 0.083008 \ \text{KiB}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{B}$ to $\text{KiB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = \frac{105.0}{1024}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 0.102539$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{B} = 0.102539 \ \text{KiB}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{B}$ to $\text{KiB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = \frac{150.0}{1024}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 0.146484$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{B} = 0.146484 \ \text{KiB}$$
Example 5
Convert $200.0\ \text{B}$ to $\text{KiB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = \frac{200.0}{1024}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KiB}} = 0.195313$$
$$\therefore \ 200.0\ \text{B} = 0.195313 \ \text{KiB}$$
