Convert Gigabit to Kilobyte
Unit definitions
Gigabit
${10}^{9}$ bits equal one gigabit.
Kilobyte
${10}^{3}$ bytes equal one kilobyte.
How to convert Gigabit to Kilobyte
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Gb}} \cdot 125000$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $45.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{KB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 45.0 \cdot 125000$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 5625000$$
$$\therefore \ 45.0\ \text{Gb} = 5625000 \ \text{KB}$$
Example 2
Convert $65.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{KB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 65.0 \cdot 125000$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 8125000$$
$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{Gb} = 8125000 \ \text{KB}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{KB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 100.0 \cdot 125000$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 12500000$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{Gb} = 12500000 \ \text{KB}$$
Example 4
Convert $140.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{KB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 140.0 \cdot 125000$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 17500000$$
$$\therefore \ 140.0\ \text{Gb} = 17500000 \ \text{KB}$$
Example 5
Convert $200.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{KB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 200.0 \cdot 125000$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{KB}} = 25000000$$
$$\therefore \ 200.0\ \text{Gb} = 25000000 \ \text{KB}$$
