Convert Gigabit to Megabit
Unit definitions
Gigabit
${10}^{9}$ bits equal one gigabit.
Megabit
${10}^{6}$ bits equal one megabit.
How to convert Gigabit to Megabit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Gb}} \cdot {10}^{3}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $50.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{Mb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 50.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 50000$$
$$\therefore \ 50.0\ \text{Gb} = 50000 \ \text{Mb}$$
Example 2
Convert $65.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{Mb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 65.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 65000$$
$$\therefore \ 65.0\ \text{Gb} = 65000 \ \text{Mb}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{Mb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 105.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 105000$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{Gb} = 105000 \ \text{Mb}$$
Example 4
Convert $145.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{Mb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 145.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 145000$$
$$\therefore \ 145.0\ \text{Gb} = 145000 \ \text{Mb}$$
Example 5
Convert $185.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{Mb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 185.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Mb}} = 185000$$
$$\therefore \ 185.0\ \text{Gb} = 185000 \ \text{Mb}$$
