Convert Gigabit to Terabit
Unit definitions
Gigabit
${10}^{9}$ bits equal one gigabit.
Terabit
${10}^{12}$ bits equal one terabit.
How to convert Gigabit to Terabit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Gb}}}{{10}^{3}}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $50.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{Tb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{50.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = 0.05$$
$$\therefore \ 50.0\ \text{Gb} = 0.05 \ \text{Tb}$$
Example 2
Convert $85.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{Tb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{85.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = 0.085$$
$$\therefore \ 85.0\ \text{Gb} = 0.085 \ \text{Tb}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{Tb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{105.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = 0.105$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{Gb} = 0.105 \ \text{Tb}$$
Example 4
Convert $135.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{Tb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{135.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = 0.135$$
$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{Gb} = 0.135 \ \text{Tb}$$
Example 5
Convert $160.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{Tb}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = \frac{160.0}{{10}^{3}}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Tb}} = 0.16$$
$$\therefore \ 160.0\ \text{Gb} = 0.16 \ \text{Tb}$$
