Convert Gigabit to Terabyte
Unit definitions
Gigabit
${10}^{9}$ bits equal one gigabit.
Terabyte
${10}^{12}$ bytes equal one terabyte. It is also equal to ${10}^{3}$ gigabytes.
How to convert Gigabit to Terabyte
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = \frac{\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Gb}}}{8000}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $20.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{TB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = \frac{20.0}{8000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 0.0025$$
$$\therefore \ 20.0\ \text{Gb} = 0.0025 \ \text{TB}$$
Example 2
Convert $70.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{TB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = \frac{70.0}{8000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 0.00875$$
$$\therefore \ 70.0\ \text{Gb} = 0.00875 \ \text{TB}$$
Example 3
Convert $120.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{TB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = \frac{120.0}{8000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 0.015$$
$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{Gb} = 0.015 \ \text{TB}$$
Example 4
Convert $135.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{TB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = \frac{135.0}{8000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 0.016875$$
$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{Gb} = 0.016875 \ \text{TB}$$
Example 5
Convert $185.0\ \text{Gb}$ to $\text{TB}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = \frac{185.0}{8000}$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{TB}} = 0.023125$$
$$\therefore \ 185.0\ \text{Gb} = 0.023125 \ \text{TB}$$
