Convert Kibibit to Bit
Unit definitions
Kibibit
${2}^{10}$ bits equal one kibibit.
Bit
The bit is the smallest unit of measurement in data and storage. It is used to indicate one of the two logic states: 0 or 1.
How to convert Kibibit to Bit
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = \text{Data and Storage}_{\text{Kib}} \cdot 1024$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $35.0\ \text{Kib}$ to $\text{bit}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 35.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 35840$$
$$\therefore \ 35.0\ \text{Kib} = 35840 \ \text{bit}$$
Example 2
Convert $70.0\ \text{Kib}$ to $\text{bit}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 70.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 71680$$
$$\therefore \ 70.0\ \text{Kib} = 71680 \ \text{bit}$$
Example 3
Convert $115.0\ \text{Kib}$ to $\text{bit}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 115.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 117760$$
$$\therefore \ 115.0\ \text{Kib} = 117760 \ \text{bit}$$
Example 4
Convert $135.0\ \text{Kib}$ to $\text{bit}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 135.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 138240$$
$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{Kib} = 138240 \ \text{bit}$$
Example 5
Convert $180.0\ \text{Kib}$ to $\text{bit}$.
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 180.0 \cdot 1024$$
$$\text{Data and Storage}_{\text{bit}} = 184320$$
$$\therefore \ 180.0\ \text{Kib} = 184320 \ \text{bit}$$
