How to convert Hertz to Kilohertz

Example 3

Convert $120.0\ \text{Hz}$ to $\text{kHz}$.

$$\text{Frequency}_{\text{kHz}} = \frac{120.0}{{10}^{3}}$$

$$\text{Frequency}_{\text{kHz}} = 0.12$$

$$\therefore \ 120.0\ \text{Hz} = 0.12 \ \text{kHz}$$

Example 4

Convert $130.0\ \text{Hz}$ to $\text{kHz}$.

$$\text{Frequency}_{\text{kHz}} = \frac{130.0}{{10}^{3}}$$

$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{Hz} = 0.13 \ \text{kHz}$$

Example 5

Convert $165.0\ \text{Hz}$ to $\text{kHz}$.

$$\text{Frequency}_{\text{kHz}} = 0.165$$

$$\therefore \ 165.0\ \text{Hz} = 0.165 \ \text{kHz}$$
