An em is a unit of typography equal to the point size of the font, commonly $12$ points or $\frac{1}{6}$ of an inch.
Point
The length of a point is equal to $0.013\,837$ inches.
How to convert Em to Point
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = \text{Length}_{\text{em}} \cdot 12$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $30.0\ \text{em}$ to $\text{pt}$.
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = 30.0 \cdot 12$$
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = 360$$
$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{em} = 360 \ \text{pt}$$
Example 2
Convert $70.0\ \text{em}$ to $\text{pt}$.
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = 70.0 \cdot 12$$
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = 840$$
$$\therefore \ 70.0\ \text{em} = 840 \ \text{pt}$$
Example 3
Convert $100.0\ \text{em}$ to $\text{pt}$.
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = 100.0 \cdot 12$$
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = 1200$$
$$\therefore \ 100.0\ \text{em} = 1200 \ \text{pt}$$
Example 4
Convert $145.0\ \text{em}$ to $\text{pt}$.
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = 145.0 \cdot 12$$
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = 1740$$
$$\therefore \ 145.0\ \text{em} = 1740 \ \text{pt}$$
Example 5
Convert $160.0\ \text{em}$ to $\text{pt}$.
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = 160.0 \cdot 12$$
$$\text{Length}_{\text{pt}} = 1920$$
$$\therefore \ 160.0\ \text{em} = 1920 \ \text{pt}$$
