Convert Meter to Millimeter
Unit definitions
Meter
The meter (metre (UK)) is the SI unit of length. It is defined as the distance traveled by light in vacuum during a time interval of $\frac{1}{299\,792\,458}$ of a second.
Millimeter
$\frac{1}{10^{3}}$ of a meter is a millimeter.
How to convert Meter to Millimeter
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = \text{Length}_{\text{m}} \cdot {10}^{3}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $30.0\ \text{m}$ to $\text{mm}$.
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = 30.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = 30000$$
$$\therefore \ 30.0\ \text{m} = 30000 \ \text{mm}$$
Example 2
Convert $80.0\ \text{m}$ to $\text{mm}$.
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = 80.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = 80000$$
$$\therefore \ 80.0\ \text{m} = 80000 \ \text{mm}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{m}$ to $\text{mm}$.
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = 110.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = 110000$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{m} = 110000 \ \text{mm}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{m}$ to $\text{mm}$.
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = 130.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = 130000$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{m} = 130000 \ \text{mm}$$
Example 5
Convert $195.0\ \text{m}$ to $\text{mm}$.
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = 195.0 \cdot {10}^{3}$$
$$\text{Length}_{\text{mm}} = 195000$$
$$\therefore \ 195.0\ \text{m} = 195000 \ \text{mm}$$
