How to convert Carat to Centigram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = \text{Mass}_{\text{ct}} \cdot 20$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $50.0\ \text{ct}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 50.0 \cdot 20$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 1000$$
$$\therefore \ 50.0\ \text{ct} = 1000 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 2
Convert $85.0\ \text{ct}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 85.0 \cdot 20$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 1700$$
$$\therefore \ 85.0\ \text{ct} = 1700 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 3
Convert $105.0\ \text{ct}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 105.0 \cdot 20$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 2100$$
$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{ct} = 2100 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{ct}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 150.0 \cdot 20$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 3000$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{ct} = 3000 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 5
Convert $200.0\ \text{ct}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 200.0 \cdot 20$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 4000$$
$$\therefore \ 200.0\ \text{ct} = 4000 \ \text{cg}$$
