How to convert Carat to Hectogram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{\text{Mass}_{\text{ct}}}{500}$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $45.0\ \text{ct}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{45.0}{500}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.09$$
$$\therefore \ 45.0\ \text{ct} = 0.09 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{ct}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{60.0}{500}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.12$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{ct} = 0.12 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 3
Convert $110.0\ \text{ct}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{110.0}{500}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.22$$
$$\therefore \ 110.0\ \text{ct} = 0.22 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 4
Convert $150.0\ \text{ct}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{150.0}{500}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.3$$
$$\therefore \ 150.0\ \text{ct} = 0.3 \ \text{hg}$$
Example 5
Convert $185.0\ \text{ct}$ to $\text{hg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = \frac{185.0}{500}$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{hg}} = 0.37$$
$$\therefore \ 185.0\ \text{ct} = 0.37 \ \text{hg}$$
