How to convert Centigram to Gram

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}}}{100}$$

Examples

Example 1

Convert $45.0\ \text{cg}$ to $\text{g}$.

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{45.0}{100}$$

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 0.45$$

$$\therefore \ 45.0\ \text{cg} = 0.45 \ \text{g}$$

Example 2

Convert $60.0\ \text{cg}$ to $\text{g}$.

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{60.0}{100}$$

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 0.6$$

$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{cg} = 0.6 \ \text{g}$$

Example 3

Convert $105.0\ \text{cg}$ to $\text{g}$.

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{105.0}{100}$$

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 1.05$$

$$\therefore \ 105.0\ \text{cg} = 1.05 \ \text{g}$$

Example 4

Convert $135.0\ \text{cg}$ to $\text{g}$.

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{135.0}{100}$$

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 1.35$$

$$\therefore \ 135.0\ \text{cg} = 1.35 \ \text{g}$$

Example 5

Convert $170.0\ \text{cg}$ to $\text{g}$.

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = \frac{170.0}{100}$$

$$\text{Mass}_{\text{g}} = 1.7$$

$$\therefore \ 170.0\ \text{cg} = 1.7 \ \text{g}$$
