How to convert Gram to Centigram
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = \text{Mass}_{\text{g}} \cdot 100$$
Examples
Example 1
Convert $40.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 40.0 \cdot 100$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 4000$$
$$\therefore \ 40.0\ \text{g} = 4000 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 2
Convert $60.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 60.0 \cdot 100$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 6000$$
$$\therefore \ 60.0\ \text{g} = 6000 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 3
Convert $115.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 115.0 \cdot 100$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 11500$$
$$\therefore \ 115.0\ \text{g} = 11500 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 4
Convert $130.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 130.0 \cdot 100$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 13000$$
$$\therefore \ 130.0\ \text{g} = 13000 \ \text{cg}$$
Example 5
Convert $190.0\ \text{g}$ to $\text{cg}$.
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 190.0 \cdot 100$$
$$\text{Mass}_{\text{cg}} = 19000$$
$$\therefore \ 190.0\ \text{g} = 19000 \ \text{cg}$$
